Tiffany Arbuckle Lee, better known by her stage name Plumb, is an American alternative rock/ Christian rock artist from Indianapolis, Indiana.
Born on 9 March 1975, Plumb grew up in Atlanta, Georgia singing in Church and school. In 1995 she moved to Nashville, Tennessee to be a backup singer for a number of artists, including Bill Gaither and Amy Grant. That same year, she also signed with Essential Records, and in 1997 released her self-titled debut album. Only two years later she released her sophomore album, “Candycoatedwaterdrops,” which did so well that it won the 2000 Gospel Music Association Dove Award for “Modern Rock Album of the Year.”
After “Candycoatedwaterdrops” Plumb considered leaving the music industry, however after receiving a touching note from one of her fans, she felt inspired to continue. In 2003 she signed with Curb Records and released the album “Beautiful Lumps of Coal.” In 2007, shortly after the birth of her second child, she released “Blink,” inspired by lullaby songs, and became one of her best selling albums. In 2009 Curb Records released a career spanning greatest hits called “Beautiful History,” followed by “Need You Now” in February 2013. Between “Beautiful History” and “Need You Now” she also went through a management change, and in 2011 she collaborated with trance DJ Paul Van Dyk. The popularity of “Beautiful History” and “Need You Now” was so high that she embarked on her largest headlining tour in 2013 through 2014.
